In East London, Stratford is a
district and town situated in the London Borough of Newham. It lies among the
most identified and recognized centres in the London Plan, located 6 miles away
from east northeast of Charing Cross. In the country of Essex, it was
traditionally followed with the railway introduction in 1839. The city has
expanded enormously in several development aspects and has gone through a
number of diversions. As population grows, the focus of the country is made on
economic developments. From agriculture based city to a new restructured and
redeveloped area with a unique recognition is a great success. The local and
international media highlights the importance of Stratford based on several
development measures and the great organization of London Olympic Games. The
following pictures elaborates the differences in the Stratford region in 2001
and 2011. The recent one is more developed and industrial in contrast to the
previous one.
